GOD’S SURPRISE PACKAGES.

It is clearly evident from today’s text, among other scriptural references, that as humans we are limited in the knowability of God. We are myopic,short sighted and dull in hearing when it comes to knowing and understanding the way and the will of God. Because we don’t and we can’t even fully know God,we do not fully understand the way He works. He works in mysterious ways that we can’t see or understand. This reminds me of what that renowned gospel musician once said in one of his albums, “God will make a way,where there seems to be no way,He works in ways we can’t see...”

Today’s text points our attention to the fact that there are surprise packages prepared by God for those who love Him. They are surprise packages because we have not seen them,we have not heard about them and we have not even conceived them in our hearts. Something becomes a surprise when it is least expected,when there is less or no prior information about it and when it doesn’t cross the mind of the beneficiary. I need you to note here that your inability to see,hear or conceive good things does not deny the fact that such things are available for you. When you least expect is when God will show up for you.

However, the question is how do we connect to divine surprises? How do we gain access to what God has prepared for us? This is where faith comes in. Hebrews 11:1 says:”Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” If you believe it,you have it and vice versa. Another important thing here is that the recipients or beneficiaries of divine surprise packages,according to today’s text,are essentially those who love God. If you love God,you will enjoy Him. Just as parents provide for an unborn baby prior to delivery,same way God makes provisions ahead of us as children.

Beloved of God, beyond your current pains and tears, beyond your problems, challenges and the wave of discomfort that overwhelm you,something better is ahead. Wait patiently for it as you do your best to love God and put your faith to action. God will surprise you.

Prophetic Prayer

I pray for you today:

1. May pleasant surprises begin to knock on your door Jesus name

2. This week,there shall be open doors of greater opportunities for you.

3. You will be connected to something greater and higher than you.

4. This week,the Lord will increase your faith.

5. He will surprise you with both expected and unexpected miracles.
