YOU SHALL INCREASE MORE AND MORE

In layman’s language,when something increases, it simply means that it has moved to another level.A simple dictionary meaning describes increase as  “becoming bigger or greater in amount”. The implication of this is that you can become bigger and better,you can become greater. You can move from where you are to another level.

In 2Kings 4:1-7, the Bible tells the story of a woman who was improvished and ran into debt. She was being threatened by her creditors who had come to seize her children. By the miraculous power of the all sufficient God,the little oil available in her house did not only save her the trouble of the day but made her become influential. The Lord used that experience to terminate the woman’s suffering and ushered her into the realm of abundance.

The implication of the above is that God has the power to increase what is not sufficient. He is the sufficient God and our sufficiency is not in ourselves but in Him. Whatever you consider small today can experience increase. Whatever you consider insufficient now can experience divine sufficiency.Every great thing started small,therefore we should not despise small things.Your small vision, dream, idea and the likes may look so small that you feel it isn’t significant. However,if you nurture it well,it can become a great accomplishment that will not only cater for you but equally for generations to come.

The simple reason why some are not making progress in life is because they have despised their small beginnings. When you despise the small things you have,it takes away the power in your oil to multiply and increase. It is better to start small,think big and grow proportionately than to remain stuck in an illusion of a big dream. If Moses’ little rod could part the Red Sea and if David’s little stone could bring down the great champion called Goliath,then your little idea,dream and vision can increase to make a formidable impact in your life and others.

Beloved of God, you can achieve greater things with the little wisdom you have. The little financial resource at your disposal can turn you a billionaire if you manage it well. What you have now is not what determines who you are but what you can have. If you will trust in the Lord like that woman,you can equally experience the miracle of increase.

Prophetic Prayer

I pray for you today:

1. May the all sufficient God visit you today in the name of Jesus.

2. He will bless and increase you more and more

3. Your little seed shall become so great

4. Your insufficiency shall become sufficient

5. Begin to move from the realm of lack to the realm of abundance

So shall it be in the name of Jesus. Amen
